4. What is sin?

If we could understand what sin is and how sin is then we could understand and appreciate the coming of Jesus and salvation at large. Sin can compared to a deadly disease which a person is born with. The blood of man is infected with sin heaven before he is born. The disease is indipendent and not directly transferable, meaning that a parent with a clean blood can not give a child with a clean blood.  This disease can only be cured by one one thing: Believing in Jesus Christ. The symptoms of the disease are : killing, stealing, speaking lies,fornication, adultery, disobedinece, disension, carousing, hatred, strife etc. The symptoms vary among different people and sometimes the disease may be dormant meaning that no symptoms will be seen. The more severe the disease, the bigger and more  the symptoms. Its power is reduced by just hearing the word of God. The more one hears the word of God the more faith is build in his heart and the more the power of sin goes down. If one lacks the word of God completely sin increases in them and the power do display the symptoms multiplies till manifestation. Look at the places where this symptoms are on the rise and research, you will realize that they have less of the word of God.

Now this is the disease am talking about: It is failing to believe the word of God. Everyone is born with the capacity not to believe the word of God and so they tend to have unbelieve and do what the ruler of this world the devil wants, which is contrary to the will of God. It is countered with hearing of the word which starts building believe. You see the effect. This is the reason why the devil hinders people from hearing the word, for it creates more power in the immunity of man to sin.

See now when you allow Jesus to come in to you, you allow him to speak to your life. Through his speaking he ministers the faith and takes away unbelieve. By this you become a legal Child of God.  Your relationship with God changes from enemy to son. You are no longer an enemy to God but a child of God.

You wish to become one now? It is easy. You have read and believed that Jesus is the only one who can take away sin. God was and is looking deep in to your heart. Immediately you belive, he gives you a gift called righteousnes and saves you when you confess with your mouth as it is written inhis word in romans 10:10.

You can pray this prayer  now to ask him to save you and help you understand more of him.

Lord Jesus, I come to you,  I am a sinner, Forgive me my sins. help me know you and do your will being obedient all the days of my life as a child of God foreve and ever amen.
