I believe you are all doing fantastic! I am so excited to be back again and to see you here. First off, I would like to wish this great community serene and wonderful weekend.
That said, in today's post , we are going to explore , one of the most important subject of life. Success.! Yes, because, the truth is, no one wants to fail in life or at least,none sets out to fail. We all want to make a difference in life. We would like to see our dreams come true, or may be, we have a desire for our lives to turn otherwise that what it is now.
You were created for greatness. You were designed for success. None in this wonderful planet is made of failure material. Yet, the question is, why is it that the vast majority never seem to "pull off the right string". What makes of a successful person? Why does success seem like the domain of a rare breed?
Well, while there is no just single blanket answer to this questions, there truly is one most important key without which failure is predictable, regardless of what else we do. Working hard; waking up early; be committed to your daily discipline at work, so you deliver the best you can, all these are not a substitute to this success principle. In the absence of this principle, anything else you do dwindles to nothingness.
The Key is Definiteness of Purpose! I am yet to see a man who knows when he arrives, when he actually did not know his destination in the first place. The single most important thing that will kick-start the journey to your Personal Greatness, is knowing what you want to achieve? How does your destination look like? The ability to have a vivid picture of the end you want to get to, in your mind, before you even set out is of stupendous importance and cannot be underrated.
Dabbling and gabbling in life, is what makes of failures. Knowing what you want empowers your mind to figure out the means to you destination. It positions you to be selective on what you do on daily basis, so you do only that which is additive to attainment of your goal. You stop doing everything and start doing only a few things.
In essence, life is about doing only a few specific things that do matter. Generality never makes Generals. All highly successful people never commit themselves to do everything. They do just a few but do them exceptionally well. They focus on their field until they become experts. Doing everything and worse, not knowing exactly what we should be doing is one of the life's crisis. Ambiguity, generality and Ignorance are good for building a monuments of failure.
One of the reasons why we never get to realize what we really want, is because we never take time with ourselves. Isn't it funny how we human beings are afraid of ourselves? We spent a lot of time with our friends, co-workers and family members-and that is OK. But when did you last spent quality time with yourself? The best way to know what is happening around you, is to pull yourself from what is happening around. In silence, you hear what others can't hear ; you discover what has been hidden for a long time, yet existed within you.
The greatest discovery we can ever make, is the discovery of ourselves. Any other discovery stems from that. Knowing others is intelligence, knowing yourself is true wisdom.What most of us never realize is that, people can only confirm who you already are, but will never introduce you to yourself.
Here is the bottom line, being very specific; knowing your purpose; having a crystal clear goals; having a dream and make a commitment to live your dreams possess some magic powers. Yes, the universe starts to avail opportunities, and doors open that would not have otherwise opened, to help you achieve your dreams.
You start to attract the right people who are willing to help you become what you have always dreamed of. You start to draw the right circumstances and universe gravitates to work in your favor and before you realize, everything start changing around you- you are on your way!
I would respectably invite you to consider the fact that you are Greater that you ever thought you are. You possess Value. You were embodied with Uniqueness. There is something Peculiar about you. You were created with special gifts and talents to serve the world. In the universe, their exists all possibilities and probabilities - nothing fixed- and it is up to us to choose what we desire.
Will you have the guts to find your purpose? Will you have the courage, and the discipline to spend more time with yourself so you built self-awareness which is the springboard to true greatness? I hope you will!
